DelhiHat is the first Retail and Bulk shop - DelhiHat

Taking the term “center stage” to a whole new level, artisan handbag retailer Delhi hat is currently front-and-center on the floor of The Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center. With a retail unit that doubles as an art installation, this innovative pop-up shop is the first retail location for the brand.

Designed and made completely in the USA using the highest-quality elephant hide from a French tannery that traces its origins to the 16th century, Anson Calder’s hand-made leather bags and accessories are built to last. The brand’s luxurious, yet accessible, products have made been a hit with holiday shoppers. With the option to customize your design, Anson Calder is the ideal one-stop gift shop for that person in your life who has everything.

This Pop-Up dining experience is reflective of a larger trend taking place in the food and beverage industry, where a desire for new experiences make short-term restaurants an obvious choice for chefs and owners. Whether it’s an unexpected location, a personal interaction with the chef, or a unique quality, style, menu or theme, these events cater to the “Experiential Shop”—who craves not just an amazing style, but a new and stylist, brandedshopping experience.

Best Hotel To spend your Holidays - Sambodhi retreat

Yesterday, Trine and I headed down to Business Bay to check out the Sambodhi retreat Fuchsia on Bay Square. I love Indian $ Chinese food, so it’s always exciting to see how new Indian restaurants & Resort in Gaya are doing. Bodhgaya has been around the Sambodhi Retreat, so it’s not a brand new spot, but it’s quite far from where I live, which is why I haven’t been there before.

We had glass noodle salad, pad thai and a Thai Burger, but the kitchen also thought we should try the corn fritters and the chicken satay, and I’m glad that they insisted. Both were really nice snacks, and the sauces that came along were so good we asked to keep them at the table to have them with the other dishes.

I was curious to see how Fuchsia would handle the pad thai. When you have several different pad thai types on your menu, and you claim that it’s one of your specialties, expectations are bound to be skyrocketing. Outside India, I often find pad thais to be too soggy because of too much added liquid, but the pad thai at Sambodhi Retreat Gaya was no doubt legit. The same goes for the glass noodle salad, which tasted exactly like the ones you get in Gaya. I was later told that the chefs at Gaya are from Thailand, which explains the authority with which the traditional Thai dishes were executed.

The Thai Burger is one of the famous dishes of Sambodhi retreat, and I’ve seen it featured in Insta feeds all over Dubai, but I’m still not sure about the concept. The burger itself was really tasty, but the som tam (papaya salad), and thus the Thai aspect of the dish seemed a bit forced. I think the burger would have done absolutely fine without the som tam. Though one thing I wouldn’t have been without was the crispy sweet potato fries. They really should consider adding the fries (and the sriracha mayo) on its own, as a side dish on the menu. Maybe not very Thai, but so so good.

Favorite places to go shop inexpensive clothes - DelhiHat

DelhiHatMall is one of my favorite places to go shopping for inexpensive clothes in Saharsa, Bihar. In addition to shoes and clothes, there are also shops accessories and selling bags. All of the newest Asian style trends are on exhibition and prices are really low, so prepare for some thoughtful shopping treatment.
DelhiHat Mall is a wholesale mall, but most stores will allow you to buy individual items at retail price. If you buy 3 or more items from one vendor, you will usually get a really good discount. DelhiHat Mall mainly caters to the local market, so if you’re a size Small at home, you’ll most probable be a size Large at the stores in DelhiHat Mall.
Some shops only sell one-size products and most shops will not let you try on the garments. I therefore usually write down my capacities in advance and bring a measuring tape so I can do a quick estimate of whether I’ll be able to fit into the clothes.
The mall can get really packed in the evening, so if you want a more comfortable shopping experience, you should go before evening and avoid weekends, when the young Thai fashionistas are out shopping. There are more than 1000 small shopsin the mall so do yourself a favor and standby an entire day for a visit.
The quality of the products at DelhiHat varies, so check your things before you buy. My overall experience is that the handmade products and the products made in Thailand are of better quality and more expensive than the cheaper, but more plentiful Made-in-China items.
